I'm Alive, guys!!! ----- "How To?" Pavlova Roll

Selamat Datang Kembali~

Uwaaaaa..... I'm sorry for leaving you this WHOLE time!!!
Yeah, lately I have a Busy (or Totally LAZY) time, so I can't share these C r a z y thought with you too often

For my apologize (eaaaaaa) I'm going to give you a totally SIMPLE recipe from Australia
And that is... (*drumrolls*) PAVLOVA!!!
The ordinary Pavlova that we know is only thick beaten egg-white that became a meringue, and served with fruits or chocolate

But this one is served just like a soft-and-fluffy spring roll cake!!!

Peach and Passionfruit Pavlova Roll

Ingredients =
 3/4 cup caster sugar
4 eggwhites
1/2 cup flaked almonds
300ml thickened cream
1 tablespoon icing sugar mixture
400g tub sliced peaches in juice, drained, chopped
2 passionfruit, halved icing sugar, to serve
Some spices (if you want to, I'm sure it will taste good)

How to make it?
Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease a 25cm x 30cm Swiss roll pan. Line with baking paper, allowing a 2cm overhang on all sides. Place a second sheet of baking paper on a flat surface. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon caster sugar.

Step 2

Using an electric mixer, beat eggwhites until stiff peaks form. Add remaining caster sugar. Beat for 10 minutes or until sugar has dissolved. Spread mixture over prepared pan. Smooth top. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake for 10 minutes or until top just starts to brown.
(+) You can add some tiny-sliced ginger to make it a little bit more spicy^w^

Step 3

Meanwhile, using an electric mixer, beat cream and icing sugar until stiff peaks form. Pat peaches dry with paper towel.

Step 4

Turn meringue onto prepared baking paper. Remove lining paper. Cool for 30 minutes. Spread with cream mixture. Top with peaches and passionfruit pulp. Roll up meringue from one long end to enclose filling. Place on a plate and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve dusted with icing sugar and some spices powder.

How to? "COSPLAY"

Selamat Datang~

Last month, one of my friends recommended some Japan Festival for us to join. I wanna join that too, but I didn't have so much budget to buy the costume,
so... I rejected that (That's the thing that always makes me wanna cry until now .-.)
Yeah... I'm still a newbie-puppy in that "Cosplay" thing . But sharing is caring, right? (Eahhh... #fakewisemanmodeon)

SO, I have some tips to starting Cosplay ^w^)/

1) Find an Event to attend
You can ask your OTAKU friend or search it . Coz... You won't walk freely with those funny-quirky-but cute.-. right?

2)Search which character will you cosplay
Honestly, It doesn't have to be the same as your appearance, but if you look 'almost' as good as the real one,THAT'S GREAT!!
Also, don't cosplay someone with so many accessories for a newbie like you

3)Know your budget
This one is similar with the number 2 . Because, if the costume is harder to make or has a bunch of accessories, yeah... You know what I mean-_-

4)BUY IT, BORROW IT or MAKE IT
This one is (I think) THE MOST FUN PART!!! Try to do a research about the costume, but you should know about the shop or look at everyone's recommendation . And if you wanna create it, use a soft but longlasting (???) fabric, ex. Cotton . And also the wig and lenses

5)Have fun with the Makeup!!
I recommended you to use Ulzzang styled makeup . Because it looks natural, and totally simple! . Idk, I just don't like if someone use so much makeup, but... Whatever-_-

6) "DRAG" (uh-oh?) your friend
You can join a cosplay club or go to the event with your friends . And don't forget, DO YOUR BEST AND DON'T BE SHY

Yours Truly

JOGJA!!! HERE WE COME!!!!

OK-OK...
I'm back from a short hiatus (???).
My New Year holiday now it's kinda a bit different with New Year Eve years before. I should go to MANY-MANY-MANY places, bu i think it's worth with their view
Sooooo.... Let's see the places that I took-my legs-to rest-for a while (If you know what I mean)
First, Start from our looonngggg drive to Jogja from Jakarta, That wasn't the first time we used our car for a long drive (It took more than 800 km-_-) and arrived at 1 am!!
To fulfill my almost dying-of boredom, I started to be a FOOD HUNTER!!!

My Breakkie (Nasi Uduk) and Dinner (Javanese noodle-soup ???) at West-Java

And now, we move to JOGJAAAAA!!!!
Hey-hey, I've found some places that YOU HAVE TO SEE in Jogja
1) TAMAN SARI WATER CASTLE
That place was a former Royal-Garden from Sultanate Yogyakarta . It took place inside a village, but when I saw it closely Taman Sari has marks of European style .
There was something that almost make me feel WOW,
A  place that very large, and when the tour-guider (???) told us, That was a bathing area where the concubines would bathe while waiting for the sultan to choose one (I can't even imagine it)
tadaaaaa~^w^)/
Where is it? Jl. Ngasem, Yogyakarta
If you wanna know about the history of Taman Sari =>

2)DOWA BAG FACTORY OUTLET
This is a perfect place for those Knitty-Lovers!!!
There're so many kind of bags, pouches, Clutches, etc. and the designs are totally cute!!!
They're a bit pricey but it's worth it brooooo, I have a bag that I bought more than 2 years ago but it still looks perfect!
You can also see how they make those bags
all of those products are 100% handmade!!!

Lemme squeeze you first~

They also prepared some desserts for free while you're resting from shopping
Where is it? JL. Godean Km. 7 Sidomoyo, Yogyakarta
If you wanna know more =>

Fwahhhh... You should go to those places!!!

(YOSHHH... Finally my seventh post will complete my HW!!!
But I still continue this blog,dude... (don't be sad-_-") )

OK!!! For some of you who live in 4 season country(or whatever it is) and... Unfortunately now on Winter season, Here I wanna share a warm dessert(more like a soup) that really popular in Indonesia

Let's Check It Out!!!

It only need 3 ingredients to make
For the simple way, You'll need
-Some Mochi (filled with peanut or shredded brown sugar)
-Peanuts
-Chopped white bread
-Wedang Jahe (Idk how to say it in English ×Ax)
It's like a tea but made from ginger root

Soooooo......
That's for an instant way to make it,
But if you make it by yourself, and in the end you'll say...
"It's worth it brooo...."

Ingredients:

Ginger syrup

500 ml water50 gram ginger, peeled and bruised2 lemongrass, bruised and knotted2 pandan leaves (optional), knotted75 gram sugar

Peanut filling

50 gram roasted peanut (Indonesian: kacang tanah sangrai)25 gram sugar (or palm sugar)

Rice balls

100 gram glutinous rice flour (Indonesian: tepung ketan)80 - 100 ml water

Instructions:

Ginger syrup
Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.Turn off heat and strain to get a clear syrup. Divide into four serving bowls.

Peanut filling
Grind together peanut and sugar in a food processor. Set aside.

Rice balls
Place glutinous rice flour in a mixing bowl. Pour water in batches and knead with your hands until the dough come together into a play dough like consistency. Divide the dough into 20 portions.Work each portion into a disc, place roughly ½ teaspoon of peanut filling at the center. Seal. Then, gently roll into a ball. Repeat for the rest of the dough. You may want to cover the rice balls with a dampen towel to prevent them from drying.Bring a pot of water to boil. Gently drop the rice balls into the boiling water and cook until they float to the surface. Once they float for about 1 minute, remove with a slotted spoon and place into the serving bowls. Serve immediately.

Hahaaa.... I'm sorry if the video is in Bahasa,
But at least I can share a way that won't make you freezing during winter

Bye Broooo

"7 Posts Challenge"~ BATIK!!!

And now... I'll tell you about our traditional fabric called batik
Listen to me closely...

Batik (Javanese pronunciation: [ˈbateʔ];Indonesian: [ˈbatɪk]) is a technique ofwax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth, or cloth made using this technique. Batik is made either by drawing dots and lines of the resist with a spouted tool called a canting
The most traditional type of batik, called batik tulis (written batik), is drawn using only the canting. The cloth need to be drawn on both sides and dipped in a dye bath three to four times. The whole process may take up to a year; it yields considerably finer patterns than stamped batik.

These years, batik isn't only The-Patterned-Fabric . You can find them in paper, furnitures, and old statues too

Sttt... You can turn your plain-boring T-Shirt or anything to a FaNcY BaTiK!!!

"7 Posts Challenge"~ How to: Be a GROOVY GEEK

Some "Geeky" people are introvert, and... Sometimes we found them mocked by their friends 😯
Here I wanna share some tips (a wise girl LOL😁) to make us (I'm one of them too-_-") better (???)

1)Be a kind person
OK-OK!! It's a MUST!
They won't smile back if you don't give a smile to them, right ?
But, Don't act too kind . Some people may use your kindness to their own bussiness and that's totally ANNOYING!

2)Have good grades
You don't have to be as genius as those inventors . Just show them your unique mind and be the "Class Genius"

3)Show your interest in sport
Haha... Being a nerd doesn't mean your eyes only connected to books or video games, dude . Show your ability in sport by joining one of sport team in your school

Optional =
You can be a bit Childish and Innocent, like having an interest in animal, but scared when they run to you(???)
And... OH!! You can try some Korean style outfit . Basicly Korean style are based on Sweater (they usually use a baggy sweater) and colorful skinny jeans

Hope this post can help youuu
